Mission:
As a sales leader, the Business Development (BD) Manager will build and lead a capable and dynamic team, provide strong business results, and drive incremental sales in the rapidly growing automotive market. The BD Manager will define and execute account strategies to deliver the best possible customer experience for some of the most strategic automakers in Japan.
Role and Responsibilities:
Key Objectives of this Role:
Develop and executes business strategy and achieve sales goals.
Analyzes market dynamics to maximize successes and to create new sales growth opportunities through managing the customer design business cycle, market research, intelligence, and competitive market.
Build relationships across the customer’s technical and commercial groups, from working level to executive leadership.
Build a high level of customer intimacy by being present regularly with the customer and work to drive continued relevance and leadership for the company.
Utilize the company’s key leadership with customer to expand the selling process and develop critical relationships.
Maintain a deep and dynamic understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives, strategies, capabilities, and ensure ongoing alignment with the company’s business objectives.
Communicates and document evolving business "pipeline" being able to always articulate status of opportunities to executive management as stages progress, on a regular basis.
Identify and grow opportunities with customer to ensure continuous growth in all product categories.
Use knowledge of competitors’ position as well as the customer’s requirements to play an active role in shaping the company’s Product Development for new applications, products and product developments and innovation.
Understand the key customers’ requirements such as cost, functionality, features and other performance metrics and promote the corresponding the company products.
Drive design wins for Cockpit Electronics (such as Displays, Clusters, and IVI), Electrification, and other the company product lines, and offerings to customer, including negotiation of pricing and commercial terms.
Plan and develop sales presentations and additional support collateral in collaboration with other functional teams and utilizes information when developing new opportunities for sales growth and new business/design wins.
応募資格
7+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Management or related experience.
Minimum 5 years working experience at Tier1 automotive supplier
Experience with electronic products
Self-motivated, analytical, persuasive and strong business acumen with an outstanding track record in sales.
Adept at growing sales, negotiating pricing, identifying profitable business opportunities, developing sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about technology innovation and business with interests and experience creating and positioning new products and services.
Strategic leader with excellent communication skills able to navigate high level complex business opportunities and the ability to engage with customer’s technical, commercial and executives teams to establish strong and collaborative relationship, and strategic partnerships in the end.
Inspiring, creative, engaging, and able to build an innovative culture to anticipate change, proactively consider the customer’s perspective, and seek out new ideas, application, products, and solutions.
Analytical thinker able to focus on the key drivers of a decision and think through the down-stream consequences of various options. Considers implications, financial impact, strategic alignment and influence to customer’s strategy when making decisions.
