Sales Engineer (Mechanical)

Overview

To develop JOEM business, ensure the growth and profitability of two key JOEM customers.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for expanding the sales revenue of the appointed JOEM account by promoting product technology, engineering and applications:

• Sales activities including the acquisition of new award programs for the specified JOEM account

• Planning of sales strategy

• Work closely with the relevant departments in the company (program team, purchasing, production, R&D, etc.) to ensure smooth business development.

• Manage serial production to ensure a smooth continued positive customer relationship.

• Be the Point of Contact for JOEM customer on all aspects of serial production.

• University degree: Engineering (Mechanical is an advantage)
• Automotive technical sales experience of at least 3 years
• Knowledge of JOEM vehicle development cycle and processes
• Experience handling the RFI/RFQ process
• Sales experience of mechanical products, mechatronics is an advantage
• Knowledge of JOEM business processes and business culture.
• Fluent English and native Japanese
