Description
Position Summary:
Account Manager – The company will report to the Sales and Engineering Manager and will be responsible managing the technical sales activities for Body & Fuel Products.
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Responsibilities:
• Become a focal point both internally/externally and coordinate projects with related stakeholders
• Define winning conditions like price, technical/quality requirements and timing
• Develop detail action plan to win business
• Manage program launches along with internal/external milestones
• Enlighten JOEM way/culture and drive/convince internal stakeholders
• Identify customer pain points
• Drive customers with deep product design/manufacturing/testing knowledge
• Create necessary reports upon requests
• Demonstrates personal effectiveness and leadership that creates a culture of high performance.
Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor degree in business or/and engineering, or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in automotive product design. Experience in designing automotive interior and/or exterior plastic products or plastic fastener products is a plus.
• Project management and product development experience in automotive more than 5 years or equivalent
• Ability and experience to identify potential future products and trends
• Proven ability to manage complexity and change
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with remote regions
• English capability under multinational working environment / fluent Japanese (JLPT N1)
• Working experience at foreign based companies
• Flexible working time to communicate with stakeholders in different time zone
• Self-starter and Result-oriented personality
• Willing to travel
