Mission:
As a sales leader, the Business Development (BD) Manager will build and lead a capable and dynamic team, provide strong business results and drive incremental sales in the rapidly growing automotive market.
The BD Manager will define and execute account strategies to deliver the best possible customer experience for some of the most strategic automakers in Japan.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and executes business strategy to achieve sales goals.
Analyzes market dynamics to maximize successes and to create new sales growth opportunities through managing the customer design business cycle, market research, intelligence and competitive market.
Lead and own the overall customer, including price and commercial negotiation, achieve financial targets, account management, and strategic planning.
Build relationships across the customer’s technical and commercial groups, from working level to executive leadership.
Build a high level of customer intimacy by being present regularly with the customer and work to drive continued relevance and leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field.
5+ years of experience within the automotive Tier1 industry, in Sales, Business Development, Product Management or related experience.
Experience with electronic products
Self-motivated, analytical, persuasive and strong business acumen with an outstanding track record in sales.
