Product Development Customer Lead

They have a line manager role: Product Development Customer Lead

Overview:

• Responsible of all aspects of Program Launch execution for a specific customer, from Pursuit to Launch and up to Service of parts. It covers achieving customer satisfaction at company program profitability commitment.
• Directly leads a team of Chief Program Engineers covering multiple programs coordinating with other departments like Operation, Purchasing, Tech Sales and Sales.

R&R:

• Responsibility for all product deliverables with their customer
• P&L / Budget and resource management at the customer level
• Responsible for engineering effort and delivery inputs of business development
• System gate sign-off and Product Development Standard gate pre-approvals
• Strategic customer engagement starting at RFI/RFQ stage
• Customer SOW review/approval
• Drive closure on warranty/QR engineering-related issues

Must:

• Bachelor of Science, Electrical, Computer Science or similar
• Over 15 years Automotive Experience, Tier 1 and / or OEM side
• Over 10 years engineering / Program Launch Execution
• Team leadership experience
• Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills (internally & externally) in a global environment Strategic Oversight and responsibility for all product deliverables with their customer/PL
• Business level of Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking)

• Interior Electronics experience
• Software process knowledge
• Manufacturing process knowledge
• Intimacy with specific customer
