Group Leader (Mobile Fluid Systems)

Overview:

• Processing of development requests of assemblies and systems for the automotive industry.
• Coordination and implementation of technical customer requirements through the application of internal specifications, design guidelines, and best practices in order to achieve robust products.
• Support project management by using APQP documentation / PLM and FIDES.

Description:

Elaborate/evaluate feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multi-disciplinary teams
Checking standard and customer specifications in terms of feasibility
Developing design concepts and design proposals in coordination with the customer for complex and global projects
Coordination of 3D-modelling together with CAD and CAE
Coordinate of 2D-drawing considering customer specifications and tolerancing requirements
Conduct design reviews with multi-disciplinary teams
Establishing a test plan and evaluating test results (DVP)
Responsible for D-FMEA and SCCAF
Assistance in developing P-FMEA
AE deliverables for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 10-90
Liaison with project managers to achieve project milestones
Fulfill the AE deliverables for G10-90 for assigned projects

Education :

• Technical education Bachelor / Master-Study of Mechanical Engineering and/or Materials / Thermoplastic technology (MUST)

Professional Experience :

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in Application Engineering or related function in the automotive industry

Language:

• Native level Japanese (MUST)
• Fluent English
