ADAS Safety/Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Leading technical discussions with the customer to understand the customer's needs.
• System design using SysML
• Functional Safety analysis (ISO26262) for requirements and design.
• Proposing realistic solutions based on data / theory that meet all state holder requirements.
• Clearly define and document assumptions and expectations to stakeholders to realize the system's goal.
• Pro-actively finding gaps and/or missing details, and pro-actively stakeholders have accurate and concise technical answers.

Minimum Experience and Key Competencies:

• Ability to communicate technical concepts in both Japanese and English.
• At least 3 years working on Automotive ECUs or embedded software engineering
• Experience in UML, SysML will be an advantage
• Experience in Functional safety is preferred

Ideal Key Competencies:

• Good understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN / CAN-FD / Ethernet)
• Good understanding of micro controller, embedded software engineering
• Good knowledge of general automotive standards (J1939, UDS)
• General knowledge of ISO 26262 and SysML
• Familiarity with requirements management and issue resolution tools (DOORS / Integrity)
