This is a program management role with QCD responsibilities.
Products are interior related, mechanical.
Program Management
Lead program in working with sales, engineering, and plant team through daily communication across countries from award phase to SOP.
Up to an assigned program, support another PMs who stay in same/other countries.
In line with the internal system, collect all deliverables from each function, which are required by corporate program management system.
Customer Interface
Participate regular weekly meeting with customer due to share the development status and clarify the issues, next action items and conformation of issue settlement.
Financial Management
Watch the program financial status at each build/design phase.
Control the design changes and its financial impact in working with sales team.
Specific expenses come from urgent shipping and proto builds etc are also managed under limited budget.
Production Readiness Support
In case key customer event happen in other countries or some delays are identified in the production countries, have overseas trip to settle the issue, participate the events and support the plant team to accelerate the production readiness.
Sales Support
In case assigned program is idling status, support sales team for advance RFQ and PDCT activities.
応募資格
Preferably Bachelor degree or above, in engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience of application engineering for interior related mechanical parts.
If someone has some experience managing technical design changes, scheduling, this is an advantage.
Strong leadership in order to manage and motivate cross functional team on a project basis.
Ability to manage across country culture and accommodate diversity with regional teams
Communication and negotiations skills, ability to lead discussion and hold presentations to/with customer, team and management
Native-level Japanese (must)
Good command of English, good enough to conduct business in English
Understanding of engineering is an advantage, as are manufacturing processes/documentations to lead QCDDM activities
