Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure proper communication and overall customer satisfaction (customer focus)
• Support Corporate quality objectives/deliverables and communicate Customer requirements to manufacturing plants to ensure organizational success
• Support pre‐production, launch and production, as required, at customer assembly plants
• Support visits and meetings at the customer, providing quality / warranty issues, as required
• Collaborate and lead internal and external resources to maintain strong customer support and positive relationship
• Provide support / direction to manufacturing plant regarding root cause analysis, issue resolution and establish corrective actions serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Customer manufacturing facility
• Drive immediate containment at Customer plant and communicate alternative measures to mitigate quality and design issues
• Lead teams to identify risks/hazards associated with quality manufacturing process, product designs, applying lessons learned, and assist in the generation of FMEA's and associated Control Plans
• Provides supervision to perform, administer or direct containment, rework/repair methods and processes in compliance with engineering standards and quality controls at the Customer – confirms and validate its execution
• Facilitate communication to immediately address customer concerns and leverage with other customers through the Quality resident engineering base
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in the fields of Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University (other Engineering or Administration degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
Experience:
Quality, Engineering or Operations positions in automotive business is strongly desired. Previous experience as a customer resident is desired.
Language skills:
English language is required.
