Description
Mission:
Execute all sales activities for assigned product line or assigned customer.
Responsible to execute product sales strategy or customer sales strategy and planning (forecasting, budget/SPL) to support profit targets.
Execute all task within sales process , as well as commercial activities in the PLC
Conduct discussion with the customer about technical advantages of our products, perform value selling according to the division check lists and stimulate and guide the customer for paid Engineering Change Requests during development projects.
Role:
1) Responsible for all tasks / activities related to Value Selling, Order Intake, Acquisition and Quote Process for assigned product line or customer
Explanation:
a) Define, develop, and execute acquisition strategy and achieve agreed order intake targets
b) Responsible for execution of:
- All tasks of the value chain starting from technical and commercial front-loading in the pre-acquisition process until completion of the quotation process according to Quality Certification (IATF 16949 / TS 16949) requirements
-Prepare negotiation strategy and lead RFQ / annual pricing and contract negotiation with customer(s)
- Commercial activities during the project / product development (e.g. Cost and Price Tracking, Change Request etc.)
- Negotiate anticipated Price Reduction and Discounts (PRDs)
-Lead spare part price negotiation in collaboration with sales administration
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor Degree or similar (or higher) in Electrical /Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Economics / B2B Marketing or similar areas
- Professional experience : >3 years experience in sales and / or engineering and /or project management in automotive business preferred
- Intercultural/international experience : Regional experience, multi customer experience preferred, proximity to Japanese culture and business habits welcome;
- Being fluent in Japanese is a must. Reasonable English Skills are requested, too
