Achieve development goals and team targets by initiating necessary activities.
Lead other engineers in development center to define necessary tasks and those schedules in order to meet client’s development milestones.
Make sure all necessary tasks with clear problem statements and quantitative & sufficient achievement criteria by communication with clients.
Predict consequences of each decision/process and minimize risks in advance.
Track completion of each task and proactively react & propose solutions to recover in case of any deviation.
Propose areas to improve and apply those ideas into development process/standard
Bring additional values to the local team & the development center.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical perferred)
Minimum 3 years experience at a Japanese company after graduation (Enough business manner and strong verbal & written communication skill in Japanese).
Minimum 3 years project management experience of vehicle development or vehicle part development (excluding cost/financials)
Minimum 3 years experience of chassis parts development as design / application engineer.
Conversant with 2D & 3D Drawings.
Fluent in spoken & written Japanese & English (Able to do customer meetings by yourself, no need for Japanese colleague to support)
Capable to communicate clearly and succinctly and work cohesively with colleagues and external clients.
Capable to convince and influence relating groups to get necessary cooperation.
Capable to lead and motivate people around.
Capable to cope with all system related topics not only part level but also vehicle level.
Capable to prioritize tasks to manage project efficiently.
