Description

Overview:

  1. Responsible for new business acquisition and all commercial related activities to achieve team goals.

  2. Responsible to satisfy customer’s requirements by supporting sales team and customer relationship activities at the specified Japanese OEMs in consultation with Supervisor.

  3. Responsible to operate internal workflow and manage sales data input and updates.

Responsibilities:

  1. New business acquisition

    • Take a lead building up strong relationship with customer each department (eg. Purchasing, Engineering, Quality etc)

    • Recognize customer request and lead successful approach for team.

    • To seek and research business opportunity

    • Arrange for quotation and price negotiation with customer (with support team members) for new and current business

    • Support documentation work (customer specific files and documentation)

    • Support efficient and accurate communication to avoid mis-understanding between overseas facilities and Japanese OEMs and counterparts / stakeholders.

  2. After new business acquisition

    • Operate data input and sales update for sales system database

    • Maintain customer order, forecast, and obtain production planning from customer (eg. Short term, mid term and long term)

    • Maintain business workflow.

    • Support documentation work (customer specific files and documentation)

    • Share updated information with team members.

    • Support efficient and accurate communication to avoid mis-understanding between overseas facilities and Japanese OEM’s in timely manner.

Requirements

Experience, Skills and Education Required:

• Strong passion for new business acquisition and have success experience for it.
• 5 years or more working experience in Sales (In Automotive industry for at least 3 years)
• Sales strategy planning ability, Project lead ability (Proactive, Involve relative persons, achieve the purpose, respect the team)
• Negotiation, communication skill by Japanese and English (Negotiate and cooperate with internal and customer persistently)
• Logical thinking, Business math proficiency
• Business level English (TOEIC score 750 or above)
• Native level Japanese, Business level English

Education required
• University graduate
