The KAM is the primary customer point of contact and is responsible for market share penetration plus the technical and commercial issues associated with this mission.

Main Tasks:
Market penetration
Review and / or define market concepts and market strategies according to targets set.
Strategic planning, sales planning and target setting.
Acquisition of new customers/ expansion of the share of wallet at existing customers
Key account management in cooperation with the worldwide sales team
Customer relationship development
Develop a strategy for the assigned accounts including application/ product strategy, pricing strategy.
Technical / engineering
Establish and maintain relationships with the technical decision makers at the customers
Coordination of drawings, specifications as well as requesting customer approvals
Organization / process:
Quotation process and follow up
Coordination of claims if any arise
Review of all incoming documents and customer requests
Requirements
Degree: Technical (mechanical engineering) preferred however, non-technical degree are also acceptable
Experience in the Automotive field 5 years or more
5 or more years of sales experience to automotive manufacture (JOEM) required
Basic SAP knowledge preferred / Microsoft office fluency
