Take responsibility of passenger vehicle ADAS system validation in Japan
Major responsibilities:
Validation of camera and radar-based Driver Assistance Systems
Assists to define requirements definition and analysis of system specification
Develop, prepare and review test specifications
Prepare and install equipment in vehicle and debug equipment data
Responsible for camera and radar installation and calibration
Execute vehicle performance tests according to test specification
Analysis, documentation and interpretation of test results by using simulation and analysis tools like Matlab or Vector tools (development of scripts)
Issue reporting into DAS development organization
Support DAS development on both ZF and customer side
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.
Ability to understand complex functions in embedded systems and creativity to develop test specifications thereafter.
Knowledge in tools like Matlab and DOORS, and experience of using vehicle specific measurement equipment and data acquisition especially in CANape and CANalayzer.
Structured, target oriented and independent way of working especially in regards to specification development and documentation
At least two years of system or vehicle testing experience
Knowledge in electronics and electrical product testing
Knowledge in programming languages
Ideally, experience in automotive system development
Basic knowledge of project management
Basic knowledge of presentation techniques
Experience in dealing with customers
Driver's license and sufficient driving experience in Japan are required
